Default 1996 Yamaha g14 Gas Tune-up

I finally got my cart running. It sat for about 4 yrs. So far i have changed the inline fuel pump, not the one in the tank, i have changed the plug, drained the gas, and cleaned the carb

im not sure if the carb is set right, nor am i really sure how to know

what i do know, is when i am running, even once its run long enough to where you think it would be warm, it still like to back fire or chit out at start up.

It also seems to run a little better, even at full throttle when i pull the choke out?

what things should i do for a tune up?
