Default Brand new sheave bushing failing

Hey folks. So I ordered a new machined sheave, belt, and torque spring. I followed all insructions and greased the sheave upon installing.

After 1 weekend of riding ...I noticed a huge difference in power immediately of course. Close to the end of the weekend I noticed things were not as "peppy" again.

Once home & upon inspection, it seems the inner copper sleave on the new machined sheave half had shifted out and popped off the inner grease seal. The copper sleave was sticking out about 1/2" (to the inside) not allowing the drive sheave to fully close at a stop.

The most obvious cause would be lack of grease but Im positive it was greased on install and only had about 10 hours of driving when I noticed it had failed. Any suggestions?
