Default Wanted

I know this isn't in the right place but if anyone can help I sure will appreciate it. I am starting to feel a little better and I designed a hook up for (not my Jeep II) but for my work G1 a set of hook ups to where I can drive the G1 straight up to my 60 inch Swisher tag a long finish mower. When I am finished I will take some pics and post them but here is what I need. Since the wheels on this G1 are regular wheels and tires I need someone to tell me what type of tires can I get for the rear of the G1 so I can have some traction because the regular straight treads are doing nothing but spinning on the grass. Thank everyone so much Calvin.

Hey Calvin, great to hear from ya. I have a set of Carlisle Turf Savers that I had on my blue Yami.
http://simpletire.com/carlisle-4.104...FYVFMgodxXIAJw

I had trouble pulling my sled trailer around the yard when it was just a little bit wet and these actually did the trick.

They have been sitting in my shed for 3 years. They are mounted on 8" wheels that may or may not fit over the G1 drum brakes??

Either way, you are welcome to them for the cost of the freight to you.

Not sure if there is any economy in that as they were relatively cheap at the local Tractor Supply.

Let me know what ya think?

First off I am so happy to hear from you guys I knew from day 1 when I joined this group you people are good people you all have helped me so much. My health is bad but I was lucky this week I had a long time friend stop by to stay with me for a few weeks and help me out. He cleaned my house for me and washed up all my clothes and I think the world of him for doing this for me. I was at the point to where I could just barely get from bed to my living room, but him being here to help me out I finally felt like going out in my garage and doing something.
Essness what a good person you are for wanting to help me and I surely do appreciate it, I would love to have those tires you have and I will pay you for them and shipping just let me know the cost and it will be on its way to you my friend. The idea I came up with works pretty good but if I get on any amount of an incline all it does is spin tires. The hitch that I built I only put 2 bolts in it to try this thing out and it worked great I mowed over a acre with it 2 days ago and the grass was all close to 2 feet tall. Had to do a couple adjustments so the mower would ride level but after that it really done a good job. I have to put 6 more bolts in the hook ups I made for it to really be finished and change out those straight tread tires. The extra weight of the 60 inch mower on the front end of my golf cart makes the rear tires spin but I came up with a idea to stop that also after I get the tires.
Essness when you have a chance to let me know what the charge will be please let me know and I will get a money order and have it on its way to you. My mailing address is:
Calvin Robinson
33 Volkswagen Ln.
Martinsburg, WV 25405

Again I cant thank you enough for helping me out on this God Bless everyone on here. Calvin & Chloe Bear.

Calvin, I'll grab them from the shed tomorrow and get them packed up. Once I have them packed and weighed, I'll let you know what the freight is.

My wife will be very happy to have the room in the shed

I know they are Ron all of you on here are the best, I have met some really good people on this board and the Farmal Cub board. Essness I really appreciate what your doing this should really help my G1 with the slipping its doing on the grass.
Hello there Dave thank you buddy yea I had a good friend stop by for a few weeks and him just being here has brought me out of the slump I have been in for quite a while now. I am hoping around on crutches but at least I am getting a few things done.
I think all of you will like my idea of the Swisher mower its for towing behind you but I was constantly turning around to see if I get close enough to things and that was a pain.
Thanks everyone again for the nice comments back to me I am hoping I can stay around here for a while before my dr. has me in bed all the time.

Most stock yamaha carts will fit 20x8 lawn (traction) tires on the stock 8" wheels. Most will fit 20x10 on the rear with minor or no rubbing, will fit them on the front with small spacers behind the wheel or an offset wheel. Note that the atv type tires seem to be larger, better to stick with 18" tires if you use those. There is an 18" knobby tire they used on offroad kids gokarts that works well for more than a traction lawnmower tire can do and still not tear up a yard. Beyond that you can put 18 ag tires on (like a tractor tire), but they make noise and vibration and not good on the yard.

Try a weight on the back of the cart, usually on the right side to offset the driver weight. Secure it. I've seen plenty of people with a cement block behind the rear bumper for example.

If you need to stay cheap you can usually find some 18/20" small lawnmower traction tires used, they can be changed with hand tools.

Best of luck with your health and glad to see you on here. Golf cart stuff is too fun to miss out on.
