Question about 4" lift with regular tires
Like a lot of people I don't have enough cash to do a lift and to get new tires and wheels. It I were to do a4" budget lift and ad braces to the front plates, can I still run the stock 8" inch tires and stock wheels safely? It is a street legal cart.
Also does anyone have any pics of a setup like that. Thanks Bob T |

Re: Question about 4" lift with regular tires
Yes,You can run the stock wheels on some lifts. Some lifts require larger rims due to the steering-arms rubbing. Also,on some carts the tires themselves will rub when you go to larger tires, thats why they require larger or offset wheels. As an example,my Lift-Kits will let you run stock wheels and tires, but once you get larger tires, you will need the offset or they will rub.You can stay with an 8"-diameter,but it must be offset.I'm not pitching a sale, just an example from my personal-experience.Hope this helps.

Re: Question about 4" lift with regular tires
I ran mine like that for a couple weeks until I got the tires.
These two pics are of the same cart before and after tires installed. It is lifted 4" in both pics. |
