Club Car Maintenance Success
Got my 1993 DS a few weeks ago and decided to do some maintenance as I wasnt sure when anything had been done. So using some of the diagrams and files here this is what I did:
Oil change and filter Air filter Spark Plug Transmission fluid change Rear end fluid change Greased and lubed fittings Removed front and rear body sections to see what was under De gunked engine and area around Replacing many bolts and screws Replaced + and - battery cables Going to replace generator and drive belts Also replaced the voltage regulator as the battery was not charging. Now battery getting 13+ vdc when running. With the body parts still off is there something else I should look at before putting them back on. Certainly does make things much easier especially in the engine compartment. |

Re: Club Car Maintenance Success
Received my 2 belts today and installed. Found out the generator belt I had on was incorrect, was 33" long but too wide. When it was installed I could not even get the 3rd bolt on the generator adjustment bracket to fit into the generator. I was kinda worried as the correct belt that I ordered for my Club said it was 31 1/2" long even shorter than the one I had. But it also was narrower and went down into the pulley much farther. So now I can use the generator adjustment bracket, nice. Also the drive belt fits a little tighter now so things should be all set for some ridin'.....
