Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
I've done 3 or 4 flight system Curtis conversions and have had problems with every single one. I have even gone back and converted some to alltrax and I will never do one again.

Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
Alltrax makes a controller that works with the 5v throttle. It's series though so you would need to change the motor as well.

Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
YamahaCRN35, what kind of issues have you had with the conversion? The only real problem I have ran into is the speed is not as fast as I think it should be.

Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
what motor would i need or want to run if i changed to an alltrax setup i my drive? I'm looking for a combination of speed and torque, i don't really have any need to climb big hills as its 99% for getting to golf, playing golf and getting to and from the club house for dinner and drinks.

Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
Internal wiring issues that will make your head spin trying to diagnose the cart, throttle variation errors and more intermittent problems. The lack of performance is also an issue. There are so many parameters, settings and safety bull crap that it's just 10 times more complicated than it needs to be.

Re: G29 Drive controller diagnostics
Well, had a chance today to see what the speed of the cart is. I am only getting 13 mph on pretty level ground and up to 14 mph slightly down hill. This is pretty much what the cart was getting before the controller change. I think will give FSIP a call Monday to see what they say. Sure was not an upgrade from the Moric controller.......
