Hi. I have an Advanced EV, which uses the same drive system, to I am betting this will work for me as well. However, I don't see the link to the software download or the cable assembly instructions.

OK, so I got the downloads figured out by going back and readi9ng through from the beginning of the thread. I still can't find the link for the cable build. Looks pretty simple and i think I may have all the parts on hand, but pinout is pretty important 😎

I just wanted to say thanks to ATrain and everyone who posted their experience with programming their carts and their solutions to obstacles. I was able to order the cables and components last week and I had the tuning program up and running in about 30 minutes thanks to all of the instructions on this thread. Now I got my Icon 60L going 30 miles per hour! Being that 30 is the speed limit in my neighborhood, it’s awesome to be able to go with traffic. Thanks again everyone!

RoyPow claims 56Ah is 20-30mi, so double for your setup.

I'm wondering if I could get away with a 51Ah pack. That seems insane.

I figured the range would be longer because you can usually deplete more of it than a battery, but that's tremendous PLUS lighter weight and more torque.

I'm still investigating building my own.

I just ordered the programming cable on amazon sold by Kwitwell. However, it says it is out of stock and won't be delivered until August 7th? Is it you selling this? Can I get one sooner?

Started with 26 and they sold out a few days ago. I noticed and made 34 more and sent them to Amazon on May 28/29th.

It's in Amazon's hands now for how long it takes to receive/process/ship them unfortunately, but hopefully they'll be quick?

I got around this error, and the program runs, but all I get access to is the "Monitor for PC". I am not connected to the cart or have any cables attached to the PC (1 cable not here yet).

Is this what you would expect

Is this what you would expect

Yes. You must be connected to the cart with the key on. This provides power to the Toyota controller so the canbus can communicate and then you'll see a "Tuning" button appear in the software.
