Re: Electric Club Car wiring
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, but I have been busy.Thank you greatly for the procedure on how to check the motor. The motor is ok. I found some wiring mistakes. The solenoid, and the microswitch in the speed control were bad.
Thanks for the help, it was greatly appreciated! John Otis |

Re: Electric Club Car wiring
Thanks (gsf35099). I believe I've looked at all of the available club car wiring diagrams. Can't seem to find one for an '86. The '85 diagram is similar but not quite the same. Possibly I'm overlooking something in my search?

Re: Electric Club Car wiring
Do you have 1 or 5 solenoids? If you have 5 solenoids the 5 solenoid diagram is the correct one.

Re: Electric Club Car wiring
999 times out of 1000 it is not the motor. Did the cart run before you replaced the cable ends? If so, it is definitely in the wiring. Did you replace battery cable ends because they were corroded? If so, cables themselves are also corroded inside the sheaths providing plenty of resistance to the amps trying to get thru....

Re: Electric Club Car wiring
I have a 1989 Club car electric and I just replaced the V glider unit. I hooked everything back up as taken off. The unit doesn't go forward or reverse and it seems like no power to unit. Any Ideas? Thanks for any ideas

Re: Electric Club Car wiring
Anyone know where I can find the schematic codes for a 1989 Club Car electric. I found the schematics, however, it doesn't give colors, just numbers. Thanks
