Shock absorber extension kit???
Greetings to all... I have an 03 CC DS that has new set of HD rear leaf
springs installed today by me (not mechanical one bit)... When trying to reattach the shock bolts, I find them not long enough to attach the lower cushion and bolt. Went to an O'reilys auto looking for a bolt extension setup with no success. Anyone know where you can purchase a hardware item like this?? Thanks..... |

Re: Shock absorber extension kit???
First off welcome to the site. I just did this.I have automotive shocks on my cart and they are 3/8"-16. What I bought was 4 couplers and 1.5ft of 3/8" allthread. Cut each piece into 3" incremints. ran the allthread halfway up the couplers and the shock halfway down the couplers. Works Great and Cost me about $6 total.
You can buy them on ebay, They are usually around $12 a pair. Goodluck. |
