86 DS with custom body?
I have a DS with a fiberglass body.Has any one ever saw or have one? The people my family got the Cart from say that it came from Dale Earnhardt Sr. Anyone have any info

Can you talk to those people and find out a bit more? I don't remember the cart. Could be true.

A few more pictures of the body, The people the Cart came from were name's Knox and Beverly, she is the one who supposedly acquired it from Sr. We've had the Cart at least 15 years. Always runs like a champ. Now it's time for a chassis over haul and a little body and paint.

Sorry I can't help with the provenance. I remember a few of the drivers had carts in the late 80's but I don't remember that particular one. Seems to me Rusty Wallace, Sr. and a few others had them. I worked in what was the Busch Series at the time so we saw these guys on a regular basis.
What is the raised rear for? |

Looks like the raised rear is for the seat backs, if that's what you mean. Definitely not a stock body.

The rear is a three compartment cooler with removable tubs. Form the underside, you can see that it's a factory made body. Thanks for the help.
