95 CC DS black box for gas pedal underneath
Hey everybody been a while since I was here. Nice to see new carts. Mines been going good til this weekend. Gas pedal is wobbly and parking break don't work. Looks like the black box is cracked causing the wobble in pedal and break not to work also has killed power speed wise as well. I can't find a part # or anything in forum on this part Has anybody here had to replace this part Thnx for any help/info

Look under the floor. The gas pedal swings on a pivot rod that runs through a couple of bushing/bearings that get worn out over time. There is a toothed pawl on the end of that pivot rod that is supposed to catch and set the parking brake. Sometimes you can replace just the bushings, sometimes it's best to replace the pivot shaft and all too.

All of this is in a 2 peice plastic box on mine. On each side of frame. Outer box is cracked. Is there a diagram of this anywhere? I think if I fix this parking brake will work. I have seen toothed part u mentioned

#1011402 - Brake Mounting Block Package BUT... that shouldn't cause your gas pedal to wobble, see meimk's post #2!   |

Ok guys think I found it. It is the metal peice above. Found on eBay. I guess the improved it by using metal instead of plastic. Circled peices are it

Wow... another 1st for me! (I've never seen plastic throttle brackets)
The metal brackets are all I've ever seen, (what you have circled) which is what meimk was talking about! and yes... those are what you need! I stand corrected once again!  If you don't have it already, attached is the full parts list for your cart!  |
