yeah that is what i thought decimal was off a place or so
found the same info as above in the OTHER manual :-)

found this note on idle speed for the FE290 Manual

Ahhh.... I bet I know where my confusion was,
"Idle" must mean in maintenance mode, (cart sitting idle, and the engine at WOT!)

I stand corrected!

Quite often equipment manufacturers refer to normal engine operating speed as "high idle", which is usually the speed where the engine makes the most power. It's not necessarily as fast as the engine can/will run.

Back to the original question... testing oil pressure...
It took a bit for me to remember and find this.
The oil pressure is quoted @ 25 psi in the thread link below, but I've never tried it, sooo...

As Fairtax said, the oil pressure port(s) are on top, or on the back of the oil filter housing...
