Re: 93 club car ds. Won't move
Not just the battery cables, all of the cables. FNR, motor, etc.

Re: 93 club car ds. Won't move
When I sometime push the petal, it will want to rock a little. So I just pushed it into the drive way and it would only pickup speed. Not fast by no means means but 1-2 mph on flat surface and when any incline comes up, it just stops. Motor? I do have power back to the motor post. Wondering what each post should have for voltage and when.

All connections are good and clean. If I jack the cart up it will spin the tires which seems like full speed it's going.

Battery area. Now after putting a jack under it and spinning the motor acouple time. I took it for a drive and will only forward and still maybe 2mph til any incline, then it stops. Needs a push to get going.

Given the age of that cart and it's symptoms I would consider the possibility of badly worn motor brushes, possibly sticking in the brush guides and maybe not contacting the commutator. You may be powering only half of the armature.

Re: 93 club car ds. Won't move
Is the positive charging cable hooked up?
Move the cable connections on the solenoid to the BOTTOM and make sure they are clean and making good contact. (Not saying this is the problem) I agree with sthreatt, those symptoms indicate a problem with the brushes in the motor. |

Re: 93 club car ds. Won't move
I took the motor apart and the brushes and armature all looked great. I cleaned them up and it spins freely. Put it back together and still the same issue. Barely moves forward, but also when put into reverse, it wants to move forward. I'm lost on what else to check

Anyone else have an idea what to check off of what I posted? Not really getting to far.
