Re: newbie here and having problems with removing my clutch
Well first off, my friend... I'm sorry you didn't get any help!
But... Most of "us" Club Car guys... may not know much about EZ Go's, Had you posted it in the proper thread (EZ Go Gas), You might have had more responses! BTW... there is a "search" feature that would have most likely answered any of your questions! Hope you get it/got it worked out! (nurserob?) |

Re: newbie here and having problems with removing my clutch
if you want to take of the clutch you have to take the engine out on this cart, you can build a clutch puller for five dollars go down to true value and but the same size bolt that the clutch has in it (harden) cut the head off one bolt and the threaded end also put it down the middle of the clutch thread the other bolt into the clutch end i think mine was a 9/16 fine thread and crank it down, it will hold the clutch and push down at the same time on the crank shaft forcing it off the shaft use some tp1 oil to help break up any rust on the shaft. the bolt you put down into the clutch should be like a 1/2inch you just drop it in the shaft opening you may have to cut it to fit 3 to 4 inch maybe ... you dont threadit it just applys pressure to the shaft as you crank down the bolt on the clutch
