Default 82 Ez-Go Gasser A-arm lift

I just acquired a 82 ez-go gasser and I am going to stretch it and lift it and I want to go with the a-arm long travel kit but I noticed that the oldest that is offered by anybody is 89 or something like that. Will that one work one way or the other? Also do you guys think that the stock motor will be powerful enough for the extra weight?

I would say probably not be happy with performance of the factory motor and about the a arm I would say anything can be done but get ready to fabricate. Welcome to the forum. And get ready to empty your pockets.

Im with ea here, your probably gonna need a motor upgrade to handle a stretched and lifted cart. And as far as the long travel, anything will work with the right amount of fab work. Another option, which has been very popular is a 4 wheeler front end. People are chopping the front off of 400 ex's and raptors and then you also have the disc brakes as a bonus feature. Just something to think about, and might be a cheaper option than a brand new out of the box a arm lift that you have to cut up any way. Good luck.

Thanks guys. Fabrication is not a problem at all and I have been looking for a donor 4 wheeler, just haven't located one yet.

That looks exactly what I want to do except I want the newer style body.Did ya'll do the stretch also? Does that rack and pinion come with that particular kit?
