Re: 92 gas CC won't start
Check your grounds first! I had a similar issue with my 92 that ended up being the ground from the starter generator to the frame.

Re: 92 gas CC won't start
this cart will not turn over,, no click, no nothing. the cart does have headlights which work so the battery is good. do I need a meter to troubleshoot the wiring and if so what type of meter?

Check the one and only 10 amp fuse in the electrical component box!
It's the black box that is directly under the drivers butt, the cover has 1 small hex screw on it, next to the battery, and the air filter box. |

Re: 92 gas CC won't start
i've had this cart since 2001 and have had very little trouble with it. for the last 6 months it was sitting in the garage. it was driven into the garage. i went to move it and got nothing. took the 2 year old battery back and got a new one. at this point the lights worked but nothing else. i haven't done anything else, except buy a small multimeter(automotive variety).

Re: 92 gas CC won't start
well, it wasn't the fuse. but it was something just as simple....a loose battery cable. when i replaced the bad battery, I apparently did not get the ground cable tight enough to start the engine and was fooled by the fact that the lights worked!!
thanks for all the suggestions. |
