1995 TXT EZ-GO. I am new to the golf cart business. I have just put a lift kit on the above cart for the purpose of turkey hunting. The cart is a 36 volt cart. Can i put a small winch on the cart it is a 12 volt winch. If i can how do i do it. If this is a repeat question sorry. Thanks for the help..

Welcome, I'm sure you'll find a lot of good info here. To run a 12 volt winch the best option is to have a separate 12 volt deep cycle battery in the bagwell and run the winch directly from this. You can recharge it when you need to with a car charger. The other option is to run it to 2 of the 6 volt batteries for a total of 12 volts. The disadvantage to this is that you may drain 2 of the batteries more than the others. A 12 volt converter won't carry enough amps for your purpose. Good luck!
