2017 48v ezgo freedom mode help
I have a 2017 48v Ezgo txt with lithium ion batteries (not sure if that matters) that I want to get in freedom mode. I see several sites that sale a connector/jumper wire for the 36 volts but I haven't seen anything for 48v. I was told by the dealer that they had to install lights as well, After further investigation I found out that it doesn't have to have them its just a safety thing required for them to do it. Do they have to be programed at a dealership or is there a chip or connector I can buy online and do it myself?

Requires a freedom dongle and a handheld or a developer level cable and laptop. Where are you located?

Cable is the same but different parameters are programmed in the interface. Also requires some changes to the windows registry. Not difficult but not published either.
