Re: What did you do to/for your EZGO today?
well for awhile now, I have seen a slight on one of my batteries, but could never nail it down as to which. the way I knew one was leaking, I have always kept a large cardboard pad under my cart, as its it's easy to spot any acid after it has dried.
ANYWAY I decided to pull the entire pack, and as I was taking each one out, I inspected them. I found that on one battery (8v), the SPEEDY CAP on one cell didn't engage and left a gap of about 1/16th" that I couldn't readily see with the batteries in the cart. so as I would drive the cart around, a small amount of acid could leak out when I would go around corners and the like. SOOOOOOO, I neutralized the battery tray, put a coating if rust inhibitor, and primed it all. today I will paint it, then let it dry for a day, then reinstall the pack.....and then AWAY I GO!! |

Today I am putting on a new windscreen and possibly a front brush guard. Going to the parts store in 30 minutes so I may come home with more than just that. :)

Well since it didn't sell I put her to work at the new house. Then I found a poor running workhorse ST350 for $500!! So all of my goodies and the 625cc are going in the WH and the WH parts and freshly gone through 352cc are going in the old cart then for sale. Going to be a fun weekend

I installed the brush guard. No windshield in stock so it will have to wait. Also slapped on a "Ride Eternal Shiny and Chrome" decal as well as a "Mad Max" plate. :)
