2 Stroke, how can I modify to make faster?

I recently purchased a 1990 2 stroke ezgo. it is really nice, has a great lift on it, nice tires and wheels. The only thing is it tops out about 20mph. I am trying to get it up to 25-30. I was told there are some adjustments you can make with the clutch pack, like on a go-cart, to make it speed up. Are there any modifications I can make to speed up the cart, like changing the clutch pack, or adjusting belt size? Thanks for any answers...
