Nope keeping stock going to be used around large horse stable for hauling hay and pulling rake around arena.

Re: Big Block on its way for a Carry All
Got the engine in and installed. Wow this thing has tons of power. Running in foward seems like the rpms might be alittle high. I read some where you could get a tempory tach to hook up.Does anyone know where? I'm going to have to put a set of high speed gears also any recommendations on which ratio?

Not yet still got more work to do to it. The front lift/steering is scary. Also have to build a receiver hitch for it.

Re: Big Block on its way for a Carry All
Update!
carry all has 20" tires Hooked the tach up and was running 4300 @ 19 MPH only ran at this for a second so reading could be alittle off. Installed 8-1 gears ran 4000 @ 30 mph. Hooked a 5x8 trailer to the carry all and loaded a 48 volt stock cart on it. Took off on concrete drive and thought the tires might roll off the bead of the rim. Started in the middle of a decent hill and after about 4 ft it almost spin the tires. I was impressed with the torque and power of the stock 18 hp BS. Tom @ CPP has a great and easy setup!!!!! |
