G16 Break Lines
I am in the process of putting the 12 inch lift kit on my Yamaha G16. Does anyone know where I can get longer brake cables.

Thanks have you ever lifted a cart 12 inches or so. I seem to be looking at a toe issue with the lift I made I am goign to be adding 2 inch wheel spacers as well as 27 inch swamp light tires hopping that might help but any thing else you might have seen would be great to know |

Re: G16 Break Lines
GP....I love how yo think. You always give good advice. Useually a "stretched" car would use the standard brake cables with a special extention rod from the brake pedal to the cable equilizer. Umax "larger" vehicals do have longer cables, but may not work for you either. Maybe take a look at Yamaha service home page and check out there stretch cars brake parts brakedown. Maybe the rod extention could work for you. Later Dave

Re: G16 Break Lines
When I lowered my swing arm I also pushed it rearward. I used the stock cables and the rod extension like Dave is talking about. Just had to move the bracket that holds the cables rearward.
