Default BBB Bad Boy Buggy sudden braking and accelerator replacement

Newbie here.
If I am posting in wrong forum please redirect me.

1. Hopefully easy question first. Replacement accelerator for 2005 all electric BBB. Does one exist? I dont know if recall has been done on this unit.

2. Sudden braking when liftingboff accelerator.
Here is a mish-mash of some question on normal behavior of e-brake and regen.
*
Need HELP. ASAP....

I was able to check the e-brake switch with an ohm meter on the 05 buggy I have been looking at to buy. It is going to auction Thursday. I can buy now it for $3650 as is. It currently comes to a screeching stop when foot taken off of accelerator. It has new ,one month old batteries and wires. Buggy looks in good shape. All other parts appears to be original.

Light on computer is on and steady green. Is this normal?

There are two sets of connectors on e-brake switch. .
The side with the wires is not switching. That side of the switch is either stuck open or closed. I can't remember which . The other side of the switch with no wires is working fine. I didn't want to fix it in front of them. The price would have gone up.

The symptoms are basically the wheels locking up if you let up on the accelerator . On asphalt it comes to a screeching stop. Doesnt matter what position switch is in.. Is this normal with e-brake on?

Should the contacts in the switch be closed or open to have the e-brake on?

What is normal operation with e-brake on and off?
How much regen should there be with e-brake on and off?

If switching the wires to the working side of the e-brake switch fixes things. Is $3650 a good price for an all electric 05 bbb with brand new batteries ?
I was not able to check potentiometer.
Please try to answer every question above.

Thanks...

I have the same problem. I hear nothing but crickets. We can’t be the only one.
