Default 2000 EZ that has DCS setup with PDS controller??

I just got a 2000 cart that the previous owner towed without switching the run/tow switch. I figured cooked controller and/or motor but I got a good deal so I jumped on it. Well it turns out batts are dead too but it was still worth the money. Anyway, I pulled the cover and was surprised to find a PDS controller. It has the FNR lever under the seat where a DCS would be and nothing looks as if it was rigged. I haven't had a chance to test anything as the Sol was cooked/melted and I'm working on getting batts. Anybody seen this configuration ?

OK - Some of the very early PDS carts still ran the older style DCS F/R systems. I've only seen this one time before, but what you have described is actually correct..

Cool. Figures I'd get something oddball.. Gonna put my old WR stock sol and resistor on it tomorrow and just run jumper cables from my current cart and see what happens. May disconnect the motor first to see if controller is ok. Thanks for the help.

Not oddball - Just unique

I't could be worse, you could have a DCS

Post your model number / serial number so I can figure a build date...

LOL - Wasn't thinking of you on that one, but now that you mention it.......

I was referring to the model year - could have gone both ways on the DCS or PDS...

C300 is March of 2000, I would have thought it would have been earlier? Oh well. Thanks for sharing!!!

Replaced sol and resistor today, checked the main wires, ran jumper cables to another cart for 36vt, hit the key and zilch. No reverse beep nothing... Then realized flipping the run/tow switch would probably help ;) Everything works YEA !! Working on other hardware issues but main electrics are good. Now I gotta find some batteries.
