Re: Poorboy Carts
Here is my poor boy cart (1996 EZGO TXT Series):
Got it for $700 from a local golf cart dealer. They had taken it in on trade from a local high school. It was rode hard and put up wet, but it is a running cart with decent batteries. Around here that usually brings much more moolah. The plan is to not spend TOO much money on this one, and purchase a newer model in the future depending on how much use this one sees. Current list of planned upgrades: - New seats (black wise seats on the way) - Digital voltage meter (on its way) - Side mirrors (waiting to be installed) - Rear seat - Spray bomb gray paint - Upgraded wires - Upgrade worn suspension, bearings, etc. I like the EZGO platform, so the plan is to get a rear seat and be able to move it to whichever EZGO TXT model we get next. |

Re: Poorboy Carts
Yup!
I just reread the whole thread this morning, and even though my cart doesn't qualify, It makes me jealous that I don't have a "reasonably priced" cart! Carry on! |
