Ramjett, got to thank you again, I finally got around to replacing the shock bushings WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I had to trim the whole bushing and drill out the center hole of the bushing to get the metal sleeve in it but it was worth the $10.00 and the extra work to get rid of the clunking when I hit a bump.
If any one has this problem this is the cure.

Thanks. It's been quite the project. Finally getting to the minor stuff. I have all the lights hooked up. Installed turn signals. Got most of the mechanical issues resolved so we now have push button 4 wheel drive, got the new tires on and the race seats installed with 4 point harnesses. I also installed a computer that tells you your speed, monitors engine temp, battery voltage and a variety of other things so hopefully it wont leave them stranded somewhere in the desert in AZ.

New to this site and a new (not running) Bombardier NEV owner! It is a 1999 Sport e green and white car. I sent the controller to FSIP and it is not repairable. Really need help on finding a suitable controller. My husband is good at electrical repairs. I love what KansasNEV has done and enjoy Kuffs565 post! Look forward to some ideas-this girl really wants this thing running!

Kim
I dont know of a direct replacement. I have heard people on the forum talk about converting their whole cart to a new controller system and all new electronics but pretty expensive. Best thing to do if keep an eye on ebay as they come up for sale now and then. There was one a couple of months ago but I think they got around $800 for the controller. I bought the battery charger from him for a spare. Keep an eye out for one locally and buy it for parts if you can find one. Maybe someone here can share what they have done. Good luck.

I got your email but it was not returnable.

Kim,
I have a replacement controller. The difference is that it is 72 volt control versus 12 volt so there is some rewiring that has to be done. Thanks by the way it is a fun little toy so far. I do have the complete owners manual. Also there is a guy in Arizona that may have a controller.

KansasNEV Thanks for the reply! My husband found a controller in AZ before I saw your reply! We put it in today and again the precharge resistor gets hot with only the service key on! Afraid to turn the key on now! Anybody know why the resistor would be heating up? KansasNEV if you would be willing to give us a call when you have some free time to talk about our problem and your controller that would be great! We live very close to Truman Lake. 660-238-2869. If anybody else has any ideas give me a call! We are 2 controllers deep in this NEV! Thanks Kim
