Default Dieseling

My 2002 CC DS after running for 15 to 20 minutes does not won't to stop. I replaced the carb a couple of months ago but this just recently started. Has anyone had the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when I Had that, I unhooked gas line at fuel filter close to carb and ran seafoam thru it to clean carbon off of valves. Hold the throttle steady med high. Then adjust valve lash. other thing to check is bottom switch in black box,it may not be killing spark quick enough.

I agree with RED 92. My 93 CC did that and it was excessive wear around the throttle butterfly not shutting off air/fuel mix completely when you let off the throttle. I replaced carburetor and that fixed it. Any thing that does not let the throttle butterfly close completely will make it diesel after it gets warmed up.

Thanks for the tips Guys. I was away on vacation for a few days. Hopefully I can get it fixed now.
