96 Carryall 1 - need opinions!
Have a shot at this 96 model Carryall.
  No engine. BUT, it's a 96, (he sent me a pic of the serial #) so the transaxle is the holy grail for an engine swap. What would you pay? I know this is subject to region , just looking for opinions. It's advertised at $450. |

It's missing the top, but aren't the cages supposed to be worth something? Seems I remember the prices for them being exorbitant...
Another question, would this axle have the locker? |

No lockers on a CA 1's!

The no engine bit actually kind of appeals to me because of the transaxle rotation. I'd swap something into it.
Shame about the locker, I'd have gone to get it TONIGHT if it had one.  |

I'd offer less than 450$, but if it was firm I'd pay it. I love my carryall. I have a fe290 with accessories for sale, ready to drop right in.

OK guys, have to admit I'm a "Craigslist-holic" and I got all excited in the heat of the find. I had the epiphany that I have far too many projects going that I REALLY want to see to fruition to buy another one that would slow the process.

If I had the extra cash, I'd have one of the wife's relatives pick it up for me. But I'm like you, I just don't need more projects. I've actually been trying to get rid of a few projects myself.
