2000 club car gas (clicking noise at solenoid)
I have a gas (fe290) club car I acquired from a family member whom advised the cart was working the last time they used it but unfortunately that was over 2 years ago. I started out by replacing the bad battery, heard a clicking solenoid so figured it needed to be replaced but a new solenoid didn't change anything. I then tried to test the starter/generator and found out it was bad, so replaced it (had it rebuilt) but still no luck. I turn the key into the on position, place the cart in forward/reverse and hit the gas pedal and all I hear is a clicking of the solenoid. I'm ready to drop it off and have the pros look it over but wanted to seek some last second advise/recommendations. Any suggestions???

Is your battery fully charged? Even a new battery may be bad or maybe it wasn't charged before you got it. A clicking solenoid doesn't mean it's bad, it usually means low battery voltage.
