Default Spinning sound from clutch area

My young son and I were riding my 2003 club car ds gas and came upon a hill so I reached down and shifted the cart into neutral to let it really roll down the hill because I assumed my son would enjoy it. After coming to a complete stop I shifted it back into drive and drove up the other side of the hill. When I made my next stop I heard something still spinning under the cart. The cart was not trying to move, just making the spinning sound. When I pressed to accelerator to get going again the cart jumped several feet forward before the clutch actually engaged and began operating normal. This now happens every time I drive or rev the engine unless it is at very very low rpm's. The spinning sound seems to be coming from the area of the front clutch (clutch closer to the dashboard) but maybe not necessarily the clutch itself. Any ideas?

Its probably the idler bearing in your drive clutch going out. You can change them out but you have to tear your clutch apart so you might as well rebuild it. Or the easy route is change the clutch. That's what I did.
