Default 88 club car

hey guy's I just bought an 88 club car golf cart and it sat for 1 year. I cleaned out fuel tank replaced all hose's and filters. when I lift the backend wheels turn great as soon as I put it down it just seems to bog down and no power to turn wheels. Is this a fuel problem?

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to BGW. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

I also had 2 fuel filters one from fuel tank to fuel pump and one from fuel pump to carb. Do you really need both filters??

I have put in a deep carb cleaner thru the fuel. how long does it take to clean it out if it sat for over a year?

You need to pull the jets and see if they are clogged
