Club Car DS Golf Cart Rearend - Gas
Somehow, I broke the rearend in my 1984 Club Car DS, so I am looking for a replacement. Does anyone have one, or a decent place to go to get one?

The transaxle or the transmission? The older ones were a two piece rearend. If its the transaxle you broke, any one from an electric CC will work, and the transmission will bolt right up to it

What I found out is it is the axle on the drivers side. He said that it snapped off flush right where the axle mounts to the "hub" that has the 4 bolts on it. Would this allow for an axle to be changed? It is a 1985, so would it need an exact 1985 axle? The dealer, who is an EZGO dealer, said that he found an replacement axle for a 1985 Electric model, but not a 1985 Gas model would that work?
Also, he said that he found on for a '91 gas model, but was told that wouldn't work. |

From my understanding this is a very rare rearend. Leave it up to my luck for this cart to have a rare rear in it. Here are some pics:

From my understanding it is either a Terrell or a Fuji rearend.
