Default Preventing Oil Leaks

I have fixed 3 oil leaks on my 1993 club car FE-350 engine. I replaced a crankcase gasket, a valve cover gasket, and a rubber plug on top of the crankcase cover. The leaks may have been from old age, but seemed odd that these leaks appeared within a 3 month period. But then I discovered the ventilation tube leading from the valve cover to the carb was kinked which causes excessive back pressure inside the engine. This tube and the tube leading from the crankcase to the fuel pump must not be blocked at any time or oil leaks will occur, especially on older engines.
