Voltage reducer

I need a voltage reducer for my led lights for my havoc body kit. It will only be used for the led lights. Right now I am on a limited budget as I have spent too much on my other cart stuff.

Can I get by with the one in the photo or am I asking for trouble. Thanks Rick

I use those all the time at our dealership for cheaper builds and rentals ... they work fine.

You may not need the reducer for just lights?.

Most lights are rated up to 20v.

I just built a 2017 Precedent and found out that when installing the bucket harness, just hook it up to the + and - of the 2 batteries producing 16 volts if you have 8 volt batteries.

Of course my LED lights are drawing from just 2 batteries and not the whole 48v but we don’t ride a lot or far at night.
