Lift kit
Hi guys, The question is which lift kit is better and why? Do I buy the axle drop kit? or the spindle drop kit? On 3R's web site it said both was the #1 selling kits in america so what is the difference? thx guys.

Re: Lift kit
myself for that year cart like the drop spindle . it widens the cart a few inches and gives the right caster the front end needs on the carts

Re: Lift kit
This decision comes down to what you want. How are you going to be using your cart? Most of our customers prefer our patented spindle kits because they are made of ductile iron, easier to install, accepts our hydraulic front brakes & you get more ground clearance. Do your research and make the decision on what best suits your needs. Good luck & have fun!

Re: Lift kit
I would never use a spindle lift on a 2001.5 (and up) cart unless it was for street/golf course use only. the stock axle is a glorified piece of angle that's pretty weak to start with, adding the additional leverage that a spindle lift can create on the axle is questionable in my opinion. lift it the way ezgo would do it, use a drop axle.

Re: Lift kit
thx for the responses guys. I will be driving this car at the drag strip to get around on and also to tow my race car. I actually only need it up about 2 inches. When I drive the cart up the ramps, what looks like a motor mount bolt gets caught on the tail gate of my truck.
Do all lift kits extend the wheels 2 inches? Because right now its close fitting the cart onto the F-150 supercrew, don't think it will fit on the truck with a wider stance. thx. |

Re: Lift kit
