Default Lifted ezgo engine oil specs

Hey guys! I have a 2001 ezgo shuttle 2+2 with a 2 inch heavy duty spring lift and a 4 inch additional lift.(6 inches in all) I'm trying to figure out how much oil I should put in so that the engine oil level will be correct with the new engine angle. Also the engine is a 295cc. Thanks in advance for any help!

Only put 1 1/2 quarts in it after it is lifted.

Also when you put the 1 1/2 quarts in have the cart on a level surface, check and mark the dipstick;this will be your new full line to use when checking the oil level. If you run more than 1 1/2 quarts and climb any decent hills at all the crankshaft will cause the oil to foam and wind up in your breather box then into the intake.

Thanks for the quick response. I will do. As for the oil level, it is registering at the old low mark with 1.5 qts of oil. I guess i'll use that as my new full mark. If I cleaned the filter do I need to reprime oill pump or is it all right? Thanks again!

As long as you drained the old oil out, cleaned the filter and added the 1 1/2 qts of new oil you should be good to go and no I have never had a problem with the oil pump needing to be re-primed;just be sure the cart is on a level surface and if it has been run since you changed it give it a minute to run back into the pan before checking for your new mark.
