Question Engine Running Rich

My 2002 TXT is running rich. I got the carb adjustment screw all the way against the stop. PO may have messed with carb trying to make it go faster. Any ideas?

That adjustment screw is low speed mixture only. You might want to return it to it's prior setting 1.5 to 2 turns out...

What is the valves set at? What plugs are installed? Is the carb cleaned out? How clean in the air filter?

I have seen carts come in with .99 plugs running like crap and put NGK in they run like brand new. Just an idea.

Thanks
I put in new NGK plugs. I got the cart from a guy who used it at a motorcycle track. That is why I suspect he tried to hop it up. It has been running rich since I got it. May have to pull carb and go through. Wondering if he tried to drill out ports or something like that. Not sure how I would tell.
