Re: G14 rebuild kit?
Could it be that rear pully deal? The one that moves when you give it throttle

Re: G14 rebuild kit?
Ive never seen one do crazy stuff like what you talk about, have you put the cart in N and gave it gas to see if it moved in and out smoothly and watch if the belt travels all the way to the top? if not give it a try... this could really be as easy as a bad new belt.

Re: G14 rebuild kit?
I did that before i drove it. It did what you said. I dont know what else it could be. In neutral the engine gets high rpm but driving its like its just no good with the belt that broke. could it be cause i turned the governor in a good ways?

Re: G14 rebuild kit?
No it would have nothing to do with the Gov. I would take the cover off the front clutch and take a good long hard look at the rollers and ramps to make sure they arent shot (flat spots) because they can cause you hell if they are.

Re: G14 rebuild kit?
This is my G9, is about how clutches stock should work in neutral.
Something is wrong with your cart belt should last for years. I've only used two belts on this lifted cart since 99, though I only use it 5-6 months a year. Yamaha belts from the dealer, not aftermarket. Check your motor mounts is the motor moving, or pulling into the trans under load? Do any of the sheaves (parts that touch belt) wobble or have holes worn in them? |

Re: G14 rebuild kit?
The motor pulls back when you gas it.
