Re: Clutch recommendation
My clutch is beyond repair. Trust me. I need to buy a whole new clutch assym. The tool I borrowed broke inside the shaft. I had to cut the clutch in half to get the puller shaft out then I had to use a pitman arm puller to hook behind the pulley hub to get it off. It is of no use and can't be rebuilt. I guess I will just call around tomorrow. Thanks

Re: Clutch recommendation
So I have narrowed it down to either a Comet clutch or an OEM Yamaha clutch. Of course the Comet is least exspensive of the two however I will not base my decision either way soley on that factor alone. Can anyone advise if they have used a Comet clutch as a replacement and how it performed? Thanks in advance.

Re: Clutch recommendation
Do the comet clutches have the second pulley for the starter/gen?

Re: Clutch recommendation
Thanks Swamp. The OEM clutch was jerky anyways so I am used to that. I have found a few sites that range fro 250 to 310. I dont guess it matters where I get them from so long as they are a true Comet clutch.
