G1 parts are hard to find. I've found a couple of sites that handle some of the old parts. You can do a google search for G1 parts and find some places. Vintage golf cart parts is one that I can think of right off hand.

Might help, here's how I did mine. All you have to do is drill a hole.Got lights at wall-mart 18 bucks.
