Well for the good news.
I found my problem today.
I have been waiting for a new head from Club Car with all new valves, springs, seals, guides, and gaskets.
I was going to replace everything so I could have a fresh head on the shelf if this was going to be a re-occuring thing every 1500 hours.
I took things apart to find a blown head gasket between the combustion cylinder, and the push rod cylinders.
The combustion cylinder looks good. Not even a ring groove at the top of the cylinder. This makes me feel really good about the bottom end.

Well I can feel my fingers , and toes now so it is back to work.
It is 28 here today.

Thank you,
To all who helped with suggestions on my issues on my carryall 272.
I got the old girl fired up this afternoon, and hauled about 1000 pounds of firewood out of my hollow.
The 200 rpm spring, the powerspring, and the kevla belt worked wonderful.
I had plenty of power and the head, and gasket made the fe 400 purr like a kitten.
this machine looks to me like a life long tool on the farm.
It makes gathering firewood for my outdoor wood fired boiler more pleasant when it is 15 degrees, and the wind blowing.
The curtis cab with the heater going keeps you from getting chilled after loading the wood, and working up a sweat.
Thank you again for all the suggestions.

I am located about 12 miles southwest of Zanesville, Ohio.
We have 13 degrees here this A.M., and it is hopefully headed for 47 today.

Well, it is going to be in the teens here tonight, so I took the Carryall, and the dog, and went to lay in some extra wood.
I piled on a good load of some windfall Cherry, and Walnut, and came out of the hollow no problem, SOOOO we went back for a load of Locust.
This time we piled on all it would hold.
Needless to say no problem !!!
I believe the more I run it the 200 rpm spring, and the power spring seem to be working better.
The clutch machining lets things shift to low low, and use all of the power the fe 400 has, and more to spare.
What a machine!!!!
Thank you again to ccp, and everyone else for the help.
