1985 making me scratch my head
1985 cart with the sideways motor. It runs great and has good power when cold. After a long ride with the throttle all the way open it just starts loosing power. Almost acts like its running out of gas. Right before it comes to a complete stop if you pull the choke out for a split second it will come back to life and run fine for another mile. Ive already replaced the crank seals because they were leaking, carb has been cleaned alot... fuel pump and lines were replaced. Im starting to wonder if maybe the adjustable main on the carb needs adjusted for the k and n style air filter? Its just weird when it starts acting sluggish you cut the air off for a split second and it comes back to life, makes me think its not getting fuel. Any help would be great guys!

I thought that too, so I adjusted it so the level would go down in the bowl because it was pushing some out the breather. Still no change...
