Compression keeps blowing front crank seal out
I have an 88 ezgo marathon with 2 cycle engine..I just rebuilt the whole top end and even replaced both crank seals..it worked for a few miles and blew front crank seal out..Is there possibly a crank case vent that I don’t know about or maybe the muffler is clogged..muffler seemed to have plenty of exhaust coming out..Also, I notice it backfired a little when it died and then I noticed front crank seal came out..any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to use loctite in conjunction with a hammer and center punch to stake the seal in three places.
Post a picture of your carburetor and throttle cable. We want to see what configuration you have so we can tell you exactly how to rig it to prevent the backfiring. |
