Yamaha g1 won’t turn over suddenly
Hey all hope you can lead me in the right direction. I have a early gas g1 worked fine then after last winter storage I hit the pedal and it spun over very slow. Then it didn’t spin at all an I was getting the solenoid click. Now nothing. I have bought a new battery starter generator 2 used solenoids I’m lost haha

Re: Yamaha g1 won’t turn over suddenly
Have your battery fully charged and load tested, just to verify it's good.
Then, hook everything back up. Check to see if you get power to the pedal switch. When you push the pedal down, the switch will send power through to the other wire that leads to the solenoid. Check that you have power on that wire at the solenoid. In reverse, it just sends the power to the opposite solenoid. |
