Default obc was missing...how do I know which one to get...

I have a club car biult in nov 99. When I got the cart it was already missing the obc...! how do I know which one I need..? thanks

36 or 48 volt, serial number then call to site sponsor ask them for help in ordering one.

AM1229201 for a Regen

I am new to the whole cart thing.......lol....all I know is the ser # is A9947-827599 and its 48v and it has no obc..! I know nothing bout carts...but I am trying to learn...please help

Yes it can... if the OBC circuit has been bypassed. A series car has a lever operated F&R Switch... a Regen car has a Toggle switch F&R, tow/run switch under the seat, and a small sensor on the end of the motor with three wires running up into the main wire harness.

Take it out and install a 14 gauge wire from the B- post of the controller to the small post on the solenoid where the yellow wire is attached. You must purchase or convert to a charger with a timer.
