To get maximum out of your 4 gauge cable change I would replace the "V" glide wiper brush at the same time and clean all contacts inside as well. you may have to remove v drive from frame to make it easier anyway.

Is there a 4ga equivalent to the wiper brush assemlby ? Contacts are clean, and there doesn't appear to be any pitting.

I didnt know there was a 4 guage wiper brush unit available for V glide do you happen to know what the part number is for it or where is it available from?

I ordered all my cable and copper lugs from acehardwareoutlet.com
They have a 50' pack of 4 ga. weld cable by US Forge for @ $70
Bulk packs of copper lugs are ridiculously cheap so get some extras. You will want to get 1/4 and 5/16 hole sized lugs. approx. 25 of each at least---you WILL mess some up.
