Default Just got a 2005 Ez go

I am wanting to do a lift, tires and wheels. What is the biggest tire that I can run on my EZ Go with a huge loss of power and potential problems? Thanks

4" lift and 22"-23" tires are a great combo with these carts, any loss of low end can be made up with a shorter belt or clutch mod. I wouldn't go over 24"-25" tires on stock engines and even then you are pushing the limits IMO.

I will be using it mostly in my neighborhood and some on my deer lease and on my parents land. How much does the shorter clutch belt help?

Mine is a 2002 TXT with the stock 295 engine. I have the shorter belt and the 28 degree clutch and I love the low end power. I am running 22x11x8 tires with a 5" Jakes lift. I don't do a lot of street riding, mine is mostly in the pasture and hunting. I think the shorter belt is probably the best improvement for the money that I have made.. Just sayin..

you can get 22" tires for 8" rims but it's a good chance you'll need spacer to offset the wheel/tire. kinda depends on the type of lift
