FSIP motor fitment
The yellow FSIP speed and torque motors fit the 48v Yamaha carts like G19-22 and G29 Drive. The Speed motor is 9 5/8 inch long and fits all models G19 - G29.
The Torque motor is longer measuring 10 3/4 inch. It fits the G29 but will not fit the G19-22 without shock mount rework. Both motors play well with the Alltrax XCT controllers. I hope this helps |

Re: FSIP motor fitment
Scotty, i just ran into this problem yesterday! I just got a 10.5 motor for my G29 2007 YDRE. Last thing to do was install the shock, it was blocked.
Now i guess maybe I do not have a G29? Not sure anymore...I am having to fabricate a bracket for my shock. Serial #: JW2-208142 (Is that the G29 YDRE?) |

Re: FSIP motor fitment
Good information. How much does your shock miss the mount hole by?

I was also told previously that the G29 would fit this motor without shock modification - but perhaps its the type of lift i have? It was installed before i bought it. Pic attached. |

Re: FSIP motor fitment
Your picture looks like the motor is blue?
A D&D motor maybe? |

Re: FSIP motor fitment
Ohh yes, the motor is a DandD, but the length is the same. I didnt realize you had specified a brand - i was going off the motor size. They ensured me the motor would fit without mods needed - That another issue now....

Re: FSIP motor fitment
The G19-22 had a motor length limit problem. Which is why I posted the motor lengths for our FSIP motors. The G29 eliminated this issue by moving the shock mount to the side of the axle - Your issue seems to be a motor diameter problem.

You cant see the bottom, but with this top bracket modification, the suspension works. Too shady? The bolt in there now is just for representation... |

Re: FSIP motor fitment
BUMP
I have the exact same issue. I'm thinking about flipping my top shock mount that came with the MadJax 6" HD Lift kit. It's currently bent inward which is exactly what the instructions tell you to do. But if i flip it, the angle will be very awkward. What was the resolution? thank you in advance |
