newbie with suspension question

I recently sold a 'down hill fast' project and purchased a better cart(I think). I think its a 2001(not totally sure, can't find S/N)Yamaha, probably G19. It has already been customized with lift kit, tires, wheels, rear seat. One of my issues is that when the cart is moving, the camber on the front wheels seems 'pitched in' at the top of the wheel what seems to be an inch per side. Is this normal for lifts? Can I adjust it out? Longer shocks needed?

Check Toe-in setting first, and suspect the front coilovers are worn out. Unfortunately, due to the design of the suspension (2001 would in fact be G19), they are prone to this with lift & big tires.

Put it on level concrete, push it forward about 20 feet, note which way the camber is at this point.

Then, push it backwards 20 ft, also note if the camber has reversed.

This will tell you if it's toe in or toe out.

Toe in will look like: \ /

Toe out will look like: / \

You can also use a long straight edge on the face of the wheel/rim and measure.

The end result needs to be nearly zero toe, with a hint of toe in.

While the cart is moving forward the 'Camber' is negative I guess (both tires leaning in at top). When the cart is moving backwards, the camber is positive and about half of the amount as it is when moving forward. I have attached a picture that I took with the front end lifted off the ground. The camber that shows there on the right side tire is about the amount that the cart has in reverse on both sides. By the way, it appears that tis cart has a jake's A arm lift. Sorry about the picture being turned don't know why it came out that way.

That's a bad alignment (toe) issue, or totally wasted coilover shocks, most likely toe issue. On that suspension design with a lift kit, finding the correct setting is like balancing a pencil tip on your finger.
