Default No spark

i have a 1996 EZ-GO golf cart i am getting no spark from the spark plug. how can i tell whats bad?

pulled the spark plug out and touched it nothing. took a screwdriver no spark. what next?

Read the engine manual that tells you how to test these things like the coil, ect....... if the coils ohm good it's probably the igniter (no real test for that other than swapping in a good one) The guessing at what's wrong can get a little costly...

To test the coil you can ohms the primary and secondary sides of the coil. The primarys are the top two spade ends on the coil. They should ohm somewhere between 1.5-2.5 or so ohms. The secondarys are the plug wires that should ohm somewhere between 10-13 or so ohms. You can also check the pulsar coil by unplugging it and you should get like 19-23 ohms across it. All ohms listed are just estimated, but under ezgo tech in this forum you can look in one of the manual links to get accual specs. Buggies Gone Wild rocks when it comes to good help and advice.
